The UTSA men's basketball team will take to the road for the first time this season when they take on Oregon State on Saturday, January 26, at 7 p.m. CT. The game will be televised live on the Pac12 Networks and broadcast live on Ticket 760 in the morning. This marks the second trip for UT SA in the past two weeks for both teams, including a trip to Portland last week for a game against the Beavers and a road game in Cal-Northwest, Wash. on Feb. 2, concluding with a 76-72 loss to Cal in front of a sellout crowd of 1,943 at the Coachera Center. Both games come after an 87-86 loss at Portland, with the Beavers opening the year with wins over Cal and Northwest (Wash.) and the Aztecs at home.

Corvallis has returned to his own Civil War roots, and the Beavers are back in the Pac-12 Conference's top 10 for the first time since 2009.

This event runs from April to October and brings world class musicians to the Oregon State campus. This is a weekend-long festival celebrating and showcasing artists from Oregon and the region.

In nearby Albany, there are hundreds of historic homes to visit, and hiking can be especially rewarding. When I feel the urge to visit an attraction, I always put the Bentley County Courthouse at the top of my list.

Here you will find hiking trails, cycle paths, challenging trail runs and long ascents that will make you really look forward to tomorrow's rest day. If you prefer a more strenuous hike, there are many hiking trails in the area as well as a variety of hiking and cycling opportunities.

The nearest Amtrak station to Corvallis is in Albany, which is a 15-minute drive north, and Portland International Airport (PDX / IATA) is a few hours north. If you are coming from the city by car, the city is about a 20 minute walk from the nearest Portland train station or about an hour and a half by bus. For those who are in town without a car: The nearest bus station is near Albany and is about 30 minutes north of the city.

Amtrak's Coast Starlight serves Chemult and Klamath Falls, Oregon, as well as Portland International Airport (PDX / IATA). Oregon residents are being asked to stay on site, but all visitors entering Oregon and returning home from trips are being asked to quarantine themselves and limit interaction to immediate homes.
